We’ve studied many people taking insulin injections.  Sometimes, people take off the cap briefly to see how much insulin is left.  If you take off the cap for less than 8 seconds, you probably didn’t take an injection and we don’t reset the timer.  

If the cap is off for more than 8 seconds, Timesulin assumes you took an injection and the timer is reset.
