Plans for Non Disposable Pens

Andy Austin Mar 07, 2015 02:19PM CET

Are there any plans to introduce a Timesulin that is compatible with non disposable pens i.e. those that take insulin cartridges? I use Clickstar by Sanofi and HumaPen Luxura by (I think) Eli Lily for Humalog cartridges.

Dear Andy,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Yes it is our plans to develope Timesulin for cartridge pens in the future but we can't make any promises of dates yet. You can of course consult your diabetes doctor about the possibility to change to disposable insulin pens.

I would also like to vote for cartridge pens. Personally I use a Lilly pen for my twice daily NPH injections.
My apidra solostar I cary with me, so I seldom forget when I last had an injection.

And then the clincher: My NPH cartridges are paid for by my government. So, unless they change to disposables, I am stuck with this pen.

Please consider making timesulin caps for cartridge pens
