The idea for Timesulin came from the experiences of company co-founder, John Sjölund.

Living with type 1 diabetes since age three, diabetes has never stopped him from anything (except eating candy). John has completed the world’s longest cross-country ski race, Vasaloppet, the largest organised bike race, The Cape Argus, and many more.

He still battles to remember whether he’s taken his four daily insulin injections.

When a lifelong diabetic, an MIT engineer and one of the co-creators of Skype got together to find an elegant solution to this problem, the idea for Timesulin was born. Timesulin works with all the major existing pen models and, through a patent-pending design, does not require people to change their routine.
